Going on holiday to destinations like Florida can be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to some people, so making the most of it is essential.
With a new app launched this week by Floriday Keys & Key West that may just be possible for visitors to the Sunshine State.
The tool, which features a distinctive logo of palm trees, is free to download and offers a range of news, tips, weather forecasts and maps that relate to Florida Keys.
Users of the app who have already been on holiday to Florida can help out their fellow travellers by uploading photographs and leaving their reviews of the area for others to view.
There is also information on restaurants, entertainment, attractions, boating, marinas and tours available through the iPhone function.
While taking a break in Florida it may be an ideal time to catch a performance by one of the world's top music stars, with the likes of Justin Bieber, The Script and Jason Derulo all set to play in the state over the coming weeks.
