Florida holiday makers 'can enjoy indoor aquatic adventure'
People on holiday in Florida who wish to learn to surf or simply touch up their existing skills could make use of a new technology centre.
Located in Kissimmee, in the heart of the Sunshine State, a $4 million (£2.54 million) indoor aquatic adventure with surf simulator is now open to the public.
It features the special FlowRider system – which is patented – and goes under the name of Fantasy Surf.
The device is said to provide the look of surfing, the feel of snowboarding and offer the potential to perform some of the tricks most associated with skateboarding.
However, it is worth noting all these can be enjoyed within the confines of a safe environment, with the ultimate indoor wave one that keen surfers should experience at least once.
Earlier this week, the Daily Mail recognised a holiday in Florida as one of the top options for people who would like winter sun, suggesting it is one of the few places where warmth is guaranteed at this time of year.
