Florida holiday 'back in trend in 2011'
A holiday in Florida – and other parts of the US – will be a fashionable option once more over the next 12 months.
That is the view of travelsupermarket.com, which recently completed research that shows there are great deals to be had across the North Atlantic.
Bob Atkinson, a travel analyst at the website, says the ongoing struggles encountered by the US's economy are meaning there are bargains to be had when booking a break in the country.
"Even though the dollar rate isn't superb, you always get so much for your money out there anyway," he states.
Holidays in Florida and Las Vegas were picked out as being the two spots where extremely favourable deals are up for grabs, which Mr Atkinson suggests will make them popular in 2011.
The US could therefore appeal to British travellers, as another study by the website found value for money is to become the priority for many when booking a vacation.
