Florida has 'a diverse mixture' of property options

Brits who are venturing on a getaway to villas in Florida have been told of the appeal of relocating to the Sunshine State on a permanent basis.

Liz Rowlinson, editor of A Place in the Sun Magazine, pointed out that she has spoken to people who have bought property in Florida and suggested that today is "a good time to buy".

While there are many popular states in the US which are sure to be a joy to live in, Ms Rowlinson noted that the Sunshine State is where most Brits locate to.

That is because the state has an array of regions suiting every family, from the sea and sand of the Gulf Coast to the posh destination of Naples.

However, the expert added: "There is quite a diverse mixture, but essentially a lot of Brits who buy in Florida do want the family-friendly villa in the larger Orlando area, where there are all the theme parks which make rentals such a great thing."

Ms Rowlinson's advice comes soon after the Belfast Telegraph reported that Florida represents the "ultimate family destination", as there are hundreds of attractions and events on hand for parents and children to enjoy.
