Festive delights available by taking holidays to Florida

Taking a last minute trip to villas in Florida could give families the perfect opportunity to get into the festive spirit.

Next month will see the Sunshine State's resort of Tallahassee splashed in an array of Xmas illuminations, reports Tallahassee.com.

The destination's Winter Festival takes place on December 3rd and boasting a spectacular lighting ceremony, which will see over 100,000 festive lights switched on across the area.

According to Tallahassee's city spokesman Bill Behenna, the illuminations will bring a unique feel to the resort every night up until the new year, with an array of offices and buildings set to be showered in light.

People taking flights to Florida villas in the weeks ahead have plenty of other spectacular sights to behold during a trip to Tallahassee.

Historians are sure to be fascinated by the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, which honours the tragic vessel at The Brogan Museum.

Meanwhile, a visit to the Tallahassee Museum should be on the lists of fans of nature taking holidays in Florida.

The venue is home to a variety of abundant wildlife, from manatees to bears, red wolves and panthers.
