Family villa an option ahead of Florida wedding

Families attending a wedding in Florida may want to consider villa rental as a more flexible accommodation choice.

With the US state a popular destination among couples and honeymooners, it isn't always easy finding the right accommodation for a wedding party.

But Florida villa rental could be the answer thanks to the range of self-catering options in the Sunshine State.

Derby-based Delicia Redfern and new her new husband Stuart Tunnicliffe are one couple to have recently tied the knot in Florida, the Derby Telegraph reports.

The pair travelled to the US with close friends ahead of the wedding, which was conducted on a sun-drenched beach.

Following the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party made for Florida's many attractions.

The 30-year-old bride, who works as a wedding photographer, told the newspaper: "I've been to so many weddings in Derbyshire and I didn't want my own to be a busman's holiday."

Cocoa Beach and Bahama Bay are two of the most popular beaches for Florida weddings, while couples can also choose a number of tropical garden settings.
