Extra travel options for those heading to Florida holidays
People planning a holiday in Florida will soon have another option when it comes to booking their travel to the Sunshine State.
Air France has confirmed it is to launch a new route from Paris direct to Orlando, the destination of choice for many seeking sun, luxury villas and amusements.
Orlando is the most popular tourist spot in the US, with more than 50 million arrivals each year, the airline states.
As well as those seeking the obvious advantages of a holiday in Florida, such as its climate, lifestyle and array of theme parks, it is also home to the second-most important conference centre in the country.
Air France will fly to the city three times a week, which could be particularly useful to travellers living in France and those who find a trip via the French capital is cheaper.
Among the things to do in Florida are a host of top concerts due to take place in the coming months, including those by Shakira and Lady Gaga.
