Enjoy an Orlando holiday with the kids this autumn

Many families like to take their children away for the autumn half term break and an Orlando holiday in Florida could be the perfect choice.

In an article for the Irish Times, travel journalist Sandra O'Connell listed Orlando as one of the top ten places to go for an autumn getaway with the kids.

She pointed out that the US offers terrific value at the moment, but in autumn prices fall even lower as the peak summer holiday season comes to an end.

This means families may be able to secure some great deals on Orlando villas and on entry to all the major theme parks and attractions.

Of course an Orlando holiday may also be the perfect way to treat children who have worked hard since going back to school in September.

Those renting Orlando villas in the Disney area will find all the attractions on their doorstep, making it easy to fit plenty of fun days out into their break.

As well as Disney World itself, families could also head to Sea World, the Epcot Centre and Universal Studios, where the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and the Simpsons Ride are the newest additions.
