Enjoy a Taste of the Beach on a Gulf Coast villa break

Holiday makers staying in Gulf Coast villas in May might fancy paying a visit to Fort Myers Beach for the opportunity to try some local cuisine.

The annual Taste of the Beach festival will be held in the seafront town on May 16th this year.

Arranged to showcase some of the diverse dishes served up at local dining establishments, the event regularly sees more than 20 local eateries taking part.

People staying in Gulf Coast villas can head to Fort Myers Beach to try out a range of cuisine being provided by this year's participating restaurants, which will include Luna Rossa, Fish Monger, Pietro's Pizzeria, Pincher's Crab Shack and the Big Game Bar and Grill.

As well as sampling the array of seafood dishes, ethnic recipes and other foods on offer, visitors will be able to enjoy some of the live entertainment and activities that are arranged every year.

Fort Myers Beach is set to host a number of events over the coming months that could interest people planning Gulf Coast villa holidays, including a 4th of July fireworks show.
