Disney World, Florida visits increase
Those who are staying in Disney Florida villas and visiting the famous resort will know that they are in good company, as visits to the parks have increased.
Walt Disney Co officials recently revealed that visits to the company's theme parks in the US have risen slightly during the past three months in comparison to the same period of last year.
Attendance rose two per cent at Disney parks in Florida and California, Jay Rasulo, chief financial officer at the firm, told those staying at Disney Orlando villas.
In addition, revenue from resorts and parks increased by 12 per cent.
Bob Iger, Disney chief executive officer, said that although the company does not plan to offer discounted prices at the moment it may do so in the future if the economy grows weaker.
In Florida, visitors can experience the Magic Kingdom Theme Park, which has an Astro Orbiter, a two-person spaceship ride, as well as the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which has a gold-mining, Wild West theme.
