Families enjoying Orlando villa holidays in Florida can discover more about the world's many mysteries at the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum.

Situated on International Drive in the Orlando Odditorium, the exhibition showcases all that is strange and unbelievable.

It pays homage to the late cartoonist Robert Ripley, who created the famous Ripley's Believe It or Not newspaper panel series, which featured unusual facts from around the world.

Among the oddities that can be found at the Orlando attraction are an actual shrunken head from Ecuador and a 1907 Silver Ghost Rolls Royce made from over one million matchsticks and 63 pints of glue.

The Odditorium itself is a sight to behold, appearing as if it is sinking into one of Florida's famous sinkholes.

It is close to the Wet 'n Wild water park, so families could spend a morning at the museum before enjoying an afternoon on the flumes.

The Mystic Dunes Leisure Resort could be a great base for those hoping to visit these and other top attractions during their Florida villa holiday, as it is just a stone's throw away from International Drive.

Set among 600 acres of landscaped tropical gardens, the resort is home to an 18-hole championship golf course and a driving range.
