Consider Tampa for Florida villa holidays

Holiday makers who have chosen Florida villas for this summer's getaway have been told to consider booking up in Tampa.

The Sunshine state's destination is home to a wealth of appealing features, as News of the World writer Jeremy Skidmore found out recently.

For one, those seeking out a chance of catching plenty of sunshine will be pleased with the setting of the location, as it features "seven miles of pristine white sandy beaches stretched out as far as the eye could see".

If the luxury of sunbathing on these appealing sands becomes tiring to tourists, Mr Skidmore suggests taking a look around Busch Gardens.

Located near the Gulf Coast of Florida, the attraction offers people the chance to "see alligators, white tigers and lions and ride SheiKra, one of the scariest rollercoasters I've seen", according to the travel expert.

The SheiKra has garnered the attention of thrill-seekers, due to the fact that it rises 200 feet up and features a 90-degree vertical drop.

Holiday makers will find plenty of other sites in Busch Gardens too, such as the chance to come face-to-face with orang-utans at Jungala.
