Christmas events at theme park on offer to Florida holiday makers

Britons who take a holiday in Florida in the run-up to Christmas can enjoy a series of festive events set to be held at Universal Orlando Resort.

The major attraction is hosting celebrations such as the Macy's Christmas Parade and Grinchmas.

Starting on December 4th and running through to New Year's Day, the activities and spectacles on offer could be hard to miss.

Both of the theme parks at the resort will be used for the events, which also include musical performances and culinary festivals, often on a daily basis.

Grinchmas is a theatrical interpretation of the popular book How the Grinch Stole Christmas and will be acted out on a stage in the Islands of Adventure complex.

This is, of course, in addition to all the normal rides adrenaline junkies can expect to find when taking a holiday in Florida.

SeaWorld Orlando recently confirmed it will also be making a special effort this Christmas by decorating 70 trees in the middle of its central lake.
