Check out the Mascot Games on an Orlando villa holiday

The annual Celebrity Mascot Games will return this year, providing some memorable entertainment for people on Orlando villa holidays.

Set to celebrate its 18th outing in 2010, the event will be held at Amway Arena on July 16th and 17th.

Over 30 mascots come together to take part in a variety of fun and unusual contests, which help to raise money for the New Hope for Kids charity.

Holiday makers staying in Orlando villas will be able to see characters representing all of America's most popular sports, including baseball, football, basketball and ice hockey.

Most of the cheers will be reserved for Stuff, the dragon mascot of the Orlando Magic basketball team.

Since its inception in 1992, the Mascot Games has raised more than $250,000 (£161,000) for the New Hope for Kids foundation, which grants wishes for children under the age of 18 who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses.

People planning to attend the event during an Orlando villa holiday will find Amway Arena - home of the Orlando Magic - at 600 West Amelia Street.
