Catch country legend live on holiday in Florida
Country music icon Merle Haggard is due to perform live in the US, which could be of interest to people planning a holiday in Florida.
The singer will take to the stage in the Sunshine State on six occasions in the early part of 2011, with fans perhaps booking trips to the area around the dates.
Haggard's opening performance is set for January 27th in Panama City, before he moves on to venues in Lakeland and Jacksonville.
On February 1st the country star will be belting out hits in Fort Myers, before taking in Melbourne and Daytona Beach on his mini-tour of the US's south-eastern tip.
The musician was born in 1937 and has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame for the role he has played in the genre's history.
Haggard's plans potentially add more excitement for music fans set to visit Florida for a holiday in 2011, with the likes of Lady Gaga already confirmed to be playing in the state.
