Catch Captain EO on a Disney villa holiday

Families staying in villas near Disney World in Orlando this year can pay a visit to the Epcot park to see a popular musical.

Captain EO will return to Epcot on July 2nd, the Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau confirmed.

The 17-minute, 3D movie experience stars Michael Jackson as the title character and Academy Award-winning actress Anjelica Huston, as well as a cast of mythical space characters.

It was first shown at Walt Disney World in 1986 and continued to entertain audiences for eight years.

Holiday makers staying in villas near Disney World can see Captain EO every day at the Imagination pavilion at Epcot.

The film replaces Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, which will return at some point in the future.

Another unmissable experience on offer to people planning Orlando holidays this summer is a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the brand new attraction that opened its doors at the Universal resort last week.
