Brits on multi-destination breaks to spend time in villas in Florida?

There has been a rise in multi-destination holidays, new research shows, with villas in Florida being one great option.

Last year saw increasingly adventurous Brits enjoy more multi-centre holidays, where they split their time between a number of destinations, according to Hayes & Jarvis, which conducted the research.

This could prove a boost to vast countries such as the USA, according to the firm, which has many different types of holidays on offer.

Furthermore, when travelling long haul, Brits are more likely to plan a multi-destination holiday, according to the firm, as seeing more of the country could make their holiday more worthwhile.

For example, travellers could fly to villa holidays in Florida to enjoy sun, sea and sand, before visiting another choice destination in the US.

People may feel most inspired to book multi-destination holidays tomorrow (January 10th) 2012, which is predicted to be the most popular day of the year for researching and booking holidays by Skyscanner.net.
