Brits being encouraged to visit villas in Orlando
Potential summer holiday makers are being encouraged to take a trip to Florida villas, after one organisation stepped up its new marketing strategy.
Visit Orlando, the Florida city's official sales and marketing business, has announced that it is set to reveal its new logo.
The news comes after the organisation announced its name change back in December 2010, as part of a rebrand.
Visit Orlando's logo has been decided after a wealth of research was carried out into the location's key markets.
From this, the emblem has been described as modern, dynamic, classy, memorable and vibrant – much like the emotions tourists will likely feel if booking up villas in Orlando.
Gary Sain, president and chief executive of Visit Orlando, commented: "The charge for our team was to create a logo that would convey the Orlando experience for all of our leisure visitors, meeting professionals, partners and other stakeholders."
Already, it seems as though Orlando is set to be busy this summer, after the American Society of Travel Agents 2011 Summer Hot Spots Survey found that the Florida resort is the most popular US getaway booking.
