Book an Orlando villa and take advantage of "deal season"

Holidaymakers booking an Orlando villa until the end of September will be able to take advantage of a host of special offers.

Visit Orlando, the destination's marketing organisation, is providing discounts on everything from the region's excellent golf courses to fine eateries and thrilling theme parks.

Danielle Courtenay, chief marketing officer at the tourist board, said: "One of Orlando's best kept secrets is that August 15th through September 30th features the best deals in Orlando. Plus, this time of year in Orlando is like its own season – a second summer – when the weather is still warm and sunny creating the perfect opportunity for a second chance at a great summer getaway."

Furthermore, Visit Orlando is also running its Magical Dining month during September, with more than 65 of the area's best restaurants offering three-course meals for just $30 (£18).

Among the attractions for those booking an Orlando villa to seek out include theme parks like Universal's Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld, along with sporting adventures at Fantasy Surf and on Boggy Creek Airboat Rides.
