Book an Orlando holiday and see the changing US landscape

Holiday makers staying in an Orlando villa will be able to learn about the various ways that the US has changed over the years through a series of special exhibitions.

Between now and April 25th, the Orlando Museum of Art will be hosting Nature and Spirit: American Art of the 19th and 20th Centuries, offering a historical overview of the last two centuries in US history.

That will be joined by the show Without a Trace: Artists Imagine a World without Us, which will carry on through to March 21st and focus on work by contemporary artists imagining a world devoid of humans.

Then, from March 20th until July 25th, the museum will be displaying a collection of photos taken in the Western Everglades by artist Clyde Butcher.

Finally, Transcending Vision: American Impressionism 1870-1940 will showcase some of the most famous pieces from the Bank of America Collection between April 10th and July 18th, rounding off the series.

For a change of pace from the museum, those on Orlando holidays can visit the city's many top theme parks and resorts.
