Florida holiday makers renting an Orlando villa can spend time with America's 'first family' while on their stay.

Kids and adults alike are sure to enjoy the Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Florida, which lets visitors take part in their very own Springfield adventure.

Years in the making, the ride - based on the popular television show that has enamoured millions around the globe for the last two decades - features original animation starring some of the most popular characters.

Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yerley Smith and Hank Azaria all share their voices with the interactive show, which also features the talents of Kelsey Grammar, who voices Sideshow Bob on the television programme.

The ride takes place in Krustyland, and sees the aforementioned criminal mastermind plotting his revenge against Bart and company after escaping from prison.

Everything about the ride highlights the huge success of the show, with a 32ft-tall Krusty the Clown welcoming visitors to the fictional park.

Those enjoying a Florida villa holiday in Orlando will find plenty of excitement at the region's many theme parks, with the Disneyland Florida resort also at hand.
