Book a Florida holiday to get into the festive spirit

It may be several weeks until Christmas, but that doesn't mean those enjoying Orlando villa holidays in the sun next month can't get into the festive spirit.

From November 13th to 22nd the annual Festival of Trees will be taking place at the Orlando Museum of Art, ushering in the holiday season.

For nine days numerous trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses will be on display, transforming the venue into a glittering winter wonderland.

Children will be able to take part in various craft activities, making their own festive cards and decorations.

A day at the event may provide the perfect opportunity to pick up some Christmas gifts or some baubles, tinsel and fairy lights for the tree at home.

The Orlando Museum of Art has a number of permanent and temporary exhibitions of modern art and sculpture.

This winter visitors will be able to see some extraordinary paintings by Jerry Pinkney depicting animals from popular fables, such as the Tortoise and the Hare and the Goose and the Golden Egg.

Families renting Orlando villas in the Highlands Reserve resort will be just a stones throw away from the gallery.

They will also be able to enjoy some top class golf on the resort's championship course, which is spread across 150 acres of land.
