Book a Florida holiday in Nicholas Lyndhurst's favourite hotspot

Those heading off on Florida holidays may be interested to know that the Sunshine State is Nicholas Lyndhurts's favourite destination.

The Only Fools and Horses actor told the Telegraph that his best holiday was a visit to the southern part of the Sunshine State.

He said the break involved plenty of swimming on the sea and relaxing on the sand, much to his son Archie's delight.

Indeed, the 48-year-old claimed that "lots of sunshine and lots of water" are all he and his family need to enjoy themselves.

The Gulf Coast offers this in abundance, as there are plenty of beautiful beaches where holiday makers can while away the hours.

Mr Lyndhurst said he had never been to the US before, but fell in love with the Sunshine State immediately.

Families may begin their own love affair with Florida following their villa holiday on the Gulf Coast.

Those staying on Marco Island will have a wide selection of white sandy beaches to choose from and plenty of good restaurants to eat in.

Many properties have their own boat dock, so holiday makers could even venture out onto the waters.
