Book a Florida holiday and get theatrical at Capone's

Families heading off on Florida villa holidays in Orlando can enjoy one of the area's original dinner and theatre shows.

There are plenty of these exciting evenings taking place around the town, but Capone's dinner and show is perhaps one of the most timeless.

Opening in 1992, the production has been a major Orlando attraction for over 17 years, pulling in audiences old and young with its lively entertainment.

Guests are asked to give a secret password to enter the theatre, before they are escorted to their table by mobsters and dames.

American and Italian favourites are then brought to the table, with dishes including fettuccini alfredo, macaroni and cheese and brown sugar glazed ham.

Then the show begins, taking guests back to 1930s gangland Chicago and bringing the setting to life with comedy, dancing, singing and colourful costumes.

Reviewing the evening, Marie Ospina from the Orlando Tourist Information Bureau, said it was "full of excitement and pizzazz".

Capone's dinner and show is held in Kissimmee, so those renting Orlando villas in Southern Dunes will be able to drive to it easily.

Southern Dunes is also a great place for golfers, as its course is set across dramatic hills with some challenging elevation changes.
