Book a Florida holiday and enjoy a wild winter wonderland

Families heading off on a Florida villa holiday on the Gulf Coast this month can enjoy some festive fun at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa.

Throughout December the park will be transformed into a wild winter wonderland, with lights, animatronic displays and zoo rides.

In addition to the usual animal residents at the zoo, guests will also be able to meet a herd of Santa's reindeer.

Six of the mammals will be spending some time at the park before their big night on December 24th and visitors will be able to adopt one of them.

Some of the attractions that families will enjoy at Lowry Park Zoo during the festive period include the Winter Wildlife Show, the Jingle Bell narrated horse carriage ride.

Of course Frosty's Foam Factory is sure to be a hit with the kids, ensuring that Christmas is a white one, even in the warm Florida sunshine.

Those renting Gulf Coast villas in Bradenton will be just a short drive from Tampa, where they could also spend a day at Busch Gardens.

Bradenton itself is close to numerous white sandy beaches where holiday makers can chill out and enjoy a pre or post-Christmas break.
