Book Florida villa as base for Howl-O-Scream

Britons who enjoy being terrified by the world's top horror experiences may wish to book a villa in Florida for later this year.

The annual Howl-O-Scream event is back for the 11th year at the Sunshine State's popular Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa.

And those staying in a villa in Florida are likely to be in pole position to enjoy it, with highlights including a personal horror experience at the home of mad Master Alexander Daedalus.

With more haunted houses open than in previous years, as well as brand new scare zones specially for 2010, Howl-O-Scream may be worth visiting more than ever before.

It costs £27 per ticket when booked before travelling to the US and a bus service allows those staying in Orlando to travel to Tampa each day.

Visit Florida recently noted the provision of top-class food, entertainment and shopping is behind many people's decision to visit the state.
