Before flying to Florida villas, 'check hand luggage restrictions'

Many Brits who are preparing to indulge in a relaxing getaway, such as to Florida villas, could be losing out on money at the airport by not checking their baggage allowance.

A study conducted by HolidayExtras.com has found that 28 per cent of holiday makers in the UK have little or no clue on the amount of hand luggage they are limited to.

The contents that are eligible to be carried in these types of bags are also tripping up Brits, with ten per cent admitting to being confused over what can go in hand luggage and what should be placed in the suitcase instead.

Anthony Clarke Cowell, head of product innovation and merchandising at HolidayExtras.com, urged: "Nobody wants to be the one holding up the queue with their belongings spread across check-in so it's well worth checking with your airline before you pack."

People will not want to delay their trip to villas in Florida, seeing as though a TravelBite.co.uk writer recently acknowledged that the Sunshine State "offers all the elements of the quintessential beach break" that will need plenty of time to explore.
