April 'is ideal time to take Florida holiday'

There is no better time of year to take a fly-drive holiday in Florida than April next year, it has been stated.

Seaworld Parks noted the possibility of an extended holiday in the month using up very few working days has been made possible by the royal wedding.

This will add an extra bank holiday to the normal Easter and May Day occasions and Florida's range of sun-kissed attractions have been recommended as a good place to stay - while still tuning in to the events in Westminster Abbey.

Among the tips are the thrilling fairground rides in Tampa's Busch Gardens, diving with sharks at Seaworld in Orlando and St Petersburg Clearwater's beaches, as well as the latter city's new Salvador Dali Museum that opens in February 2011.

Attraction Tickets Direct recently revealed those booking through it and spending over £500 on theme park tickets in Orlando will get a free Time Out guide to the city.
