Wing your way to a bird park on a Cyprus villa holiday

Paphos Bird Park includes one of the largest collections of birds that you could see, including exotic parrots, hornbills, toucans, eagles, owls, peacocks, ornamental pheasants and water fowl.

Although known as primarily as a bird park, the attraction also boasts giraffes, snakes and crocodiles to delight animal lovers.

The park is a short drive away from the Aphrodite Hills leisure resort, which may be great for people who are after birdies of a different sort.

Built around a stunning 18-hole championship golf course, the resort has something for everyone but is likely to be of particular interest to those who seek flawless fairways.

The world-class course was designed by Cabell B Robinson and allows golfers to test themselves against demanding lakes, fairways and greens amid beautiful vistas.
