People who are planning on taking flights to Cyprus villas over the hot summer months have been given some advice regarding travel insurance.
Europ Assistance has noted that, in its opinion, obtaining the correct cover for a getaway is just as important to holiday makers as it is to select the best hotel or flights.
As a result, the firm advises that Brits take plenty of time to make sure they get the most adequate insurance to suit their travels.
For example, individuals should look to see if a policy covers against the loss or theft of expensive products such as cameras, cash and mobile phones.
Brits journeying to villas in Cyprus would also be wise check if there are conditions which would take away the cover, for instance if items were taken while they were left unattended, Europ Assistance acknowledged.
Recently, Sean Tipton, spokesman for ABTA - The Travel Association, urged holiday makers to purchase travel insurance, no matter where they are jetting off to.
