Villa in Cyprus offers "perfect blend of sophistication and relaxation"

A stay in a villa in Cyprus has something for everybody to enjoy, if an article by one publication is to be believed.

Shelter Offshore notes the Mediterranean island is big enough to be diverse and offers its own "perfect blend of sophistication and relaxation".

It marks the capital city, Nicosia, as one stop to make while visiting the country, labelling the resort an "exceptionally friendly place" with plenty to see and do.

While the beach destinations of Paphos, Larnaca and Polis are beautiful and home to picturesque beaches and coastline, the inland areas also boast history and great weather.

The online portal goes on to nominate Nicosia not only as a fascinating place to visit but also a top location for spending time in retirement or during mid-life.

Ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney was recently pictured by the Daily Mail taking a holiday in Cyprus with his daughter during the half-term break.
