The Cyclamen Rally, Cyprus

The event takes place on Saturday October 6th from the Cyprus Olympic Committee Building in Nicosia and finishes on Sunday afternoon at a village on the Karpass Penninsula.

The classic cars of the 30s, 40s, and 50s will be on show and the event is aimed at bringing the people of Cyprus together irrespective of ethnic or religious difficulties.

The event is organised by the members of the Cyprus Federation of Classic Vehicles (CFCV) and the Classic & Sports Cars Club of North Cyprus, and rules are imposed on the event.

Each 'crew' taking part must consist of a driver and a navigator, additional passengers are allowed and all competitors must obey the road laws!

The overall winner of the race will be awarded with the Phaedros Economides Cup.

Classic car lovers will not be disappointed with the event and whether they take part or not being able to watch the procession of beautiful vehicles and taking in the countryside will be pleasure enough.
