Summer festivities on a Cyprus villa break
Families staying in Cyprus villas in Pissouri can enjoy a variety of events happening as part of the Pissouri Summer Festival, events guide What's On When reports.
According to the website, the south-facing village is set up high on the hillside some 1,000 feet above sea level and invites locals and visitors to enjoy a week of cultural events every summer.
"Expect dances, theatre performances, live music and plenty of food and drink around town, as well as in the local amphitheatre," the guide states.
The week of fun commences on August 23rd, the website reveals.
Exclusively Cyprus reports that Pissouri comprises two distinct communities and is home to some 1,100 people each summer, half of whom are Cypriots and half of whom are foreign.
Meanwhile, the annual Cypriot half-marathon is set to take place later this year, in news that may interest people considering a Cyprus holiday in the near future.
