Spend Sunday in Lefkara during a Cyprus villa holiday
Holiday makers staying in Cyprus villas this summer might be interested in paying a visit to the village of Lefkara in the Larnaca region to enjoy some memorable entertainment and events.
The local tourist board and council authorities have organised a music season that will run until the end of October.
Every Sunday, visitors can gather in Lefkara to enjoy concerts featuring renditions of traditional music and dance performances.
People enjoying Cyprus villa holidays will also be invited to take a guided tour around the village to learn more about its history and culture, with horseback rides available for those who are feeling adventurous.
In the evening, there will be a traditional Cypriot market selling all sorts of foods and local products that could make ideal gifts or souvenirs.
There are many attractions worth visiting in the Larnaca region, such as the Choirokitia Neolithic settlement, which is a designated Unesco World Heritage site, and a network of historic watchtowers.
Travellers who visit the area during a Cyprus villa holiday can also take a walking tour to see its outstanding sights and landmarks.
