Space station to look down on Cyprus

The International Space Station (ISS) is set to be visible in the Cyprus skies at an altitude of 240 miles in the air.

Expected to look more like a moving light than a space station, anyone with a telescope trained on the object will be able to get a better view, according to the Cyprus Mail.

But holiday makers who travel to the island in the new season will find their days filled with activities.

Those looking for a more active holiday experience can enjoy walking holidays and cycling and it also represents a good way to see some of the island's countryside.

Some routes take holiday makers into the forests where pine trees and herbs scent the air provide an interesting experience of the island's foliage as well as a good excursion from the villa.
