Soak up sunshine and culture on a Cyprus holiday
Until October 28th, those taking a break on the island will also be able to soak up some culture, as the Kypria International Festival gets underway.
Organised by the Cyprus ministry of education and culture, the festival features some of the world's most talented performers and has been running for the past 18 years.
Those attending some of the events on offer can expect see everything from photography exhibitions to world-class ballet, with shows taking place in resorts including Larnaca, Nicosia and Limassol.
Aside from the festival, Britons visiting Cyprus this year will find plenty of other attractions to enjoy.
Famed for its crystalline waters and unspoilt beaches, Cyprus is also an ideal destination for fans of swimming and water sports.
