Seek out Cyprus villas 'for goosebump moments'
Brits are seeking that special 'goosebump moment' when they are travelling abroad, such as to Cyprus villas.
In fact, a total of 69 per cent of individuals are hoping to find some breath-taking sights or a scene that they have long hoped to see with their own eyes when overseas, according to a new Travel Alberta study.
A third of Brits would most like to see these sights when they are with a loved one, as a partner can help expand the memories of a holiday for years to come.
Half of those who were studied also said that a getaway can be enjoyed even more if a partner or family has fun too.
Dominic Gill went on an adventure from Alaska to Argentina on a tandem bicycle and noted: "I think all of us realise that holidays are now a chance to do something out of the ordinary and … seeing something you always wanted to see or doing something you always wanted to do is … hugely significant."
Recently, Orestis Rossides, director of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, advised Brits to book villas in Cyprus, as the island has "wonderful walking trails and cycling routes".
