See Cyprus 'take on the world'

As the 2010 World Cup qualifiers recommence, football nations from all over the world will arrive on the golden shores of Cyprus to take on its football stars.

Anyone with Irish roots may like to coincide their Cyprus holiday with September 5th, when the Republic of Ireland rolls into town.

Premiership stars such as Shay Given and Damien Duff are likely to be on show, or holiday makers can join in with the locals and try to cheer Cyprus on to victory.

Georgia, Montenegro and Bulgaria will all visit the island this year as it attempts to qualify for the finals of a major tournament for the first time - and with your help anything is still possible.

The national games are played at the all-seater Antonis Papadopoulos stadium in the city of Larnaca.
