Music programme to add some culture to Cyprus villa holidays

Holiday makers looking forward to a Cyprus villa break in June will have the opportunity to add a dash of culture to their trip by attending an orchestral concert in Paphos.

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra will give a free performance at the Ancient Odeon theatre on June 15th.

People staying in villas in Pomos, Pissouri Bay and other popular locations on the island might be interested in visiting Paphos to hear renditions of works by a host of acclaimed composers, including Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Rossini and Tchaikovsky.

The concert is part of a community outreach programme that was organised by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and the island's tourism organisation.

Other events were staged in Nicosia, Ayia Napa, Larnaca, Limassol and other locations earlier in the year.

As well as enjoying some of the live events due to take place over the coming months, people planning to visit Paphos during a Cyprus villa holiday this year can see local sights such as the Tombs of the Kings.
