Grab yourself a late deal >More men 'investing in beauty treatments before a getaway'
A new study has suggested that it is not just women who are making themselves look good before jetting off on holiday, such as to Cyprus villas.
sunshine.co.uk carried out a poll which questioned 1,788 males who have experienced a getaway in the past three years.
The firm asked them if they had taken any steps to make sure they look their best before going on their last holiday, with 31 per cent saying they had.
Of those who answered yes, 72 per cent of men had chosen to get their hair cut, the most popular beauty preparation.
Working out (69 per cent), waxing body hair (48 per cent), dieting (35 per cent) and hopping on sun beds (19 per cent) were all also popular for holiday makers of this gender.
Chris Brown, co-founder of sunshine.co.uk, commented: "It's evidently not just women who end up spending a lot on beauty treatments before holiday!"
Brits who are planning on snapping up villas in Cyprus may want to note that temperatures of around 40 degrees C have been recorded on the island recently, according to the Meteorological Service.
