Listen to beautiful music while on Cyprus holidays

Anyone with a love for music who chooses to take a Cyprus holiday could find plenty to enjoy with a trip to see some of the island's top musicians.

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra puts on a variety of performances throughout the year, including With Flute and Harp, which is taking place for the remainder of this month.

Conducted by Alkis Baltas and including accomplished performances by soloists Andrea Kocsis (harp) and Magali Mosnier (flute), the orchestra will be playing a variety of classical pieces.

These include Beethoven's Leonore Overture No 3 in C major, Op 72b, Concerto for Flute and harp in C major, K 299 by Mozart and Dvorak's Slavonic Dances, Op 46.

Performances are scheduled for January 27th at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre in Nicosia, January 28th at the Markidion Theatre in Pafos and Xenion High School Amphitheatre in Paralimni.

Meanwhile, holiday makers travelling to Cyprus in February will be able to watch the orchestra perform the Nutcracker and Other Musical Tales at Limassol's Rialto Theatre on the 13th.
