Holiday in Cyprus could be ideal for tasty wedding

Future brides and grooms could book a holiday in Cyprus over the winter in order to take their vows in a beautiful setting.

According to Helen Webster, editor of Perfect Wedding, the colder months are also an ideal time to serve up tasty treats and delicious dishes at a ceremony.

This may be easier than ever on the Mediterranean island, which is famed for its flavoursome, healthy cuisine and as one of the world's most romantic spots.

"I would say maybe serve your guests a warm spiced fruit punch as they arrive, which will give them that real sense that they are at a winter wedding and they are being indulged," the expert explains.

When it comes to the meal itself, a seafood plate could be the best option in Cyprus, with the country's famous olive oil also worth a try.

Tina Dolder, creative director at Toast Your Event, recently highlighted salt beef as a delicious meal that is just right for weddings.
