High temperatures coming to Cyprus
Brits who are taking last-minute trips to villas in Cyprus could be set to bask in sizzling temperatures once they arrive.
The Cyprus Mail reported that the mercury is set to rise to staggering heights over the weekend, according to forecasts by the island's meteorology department.
It revealed that today (July 29th) will see the beginning of the heatwave, with temperatures predicted to climb to 41 degrees C inland.
People staying in Cyprus villas near to the coast will be able to relax in 36C heat, with could mix with high humidity levels of 60 per cent.
Meanwhile, those journeying to the mountains can enjoy conditions averaging 32C, which is also higher than normal for this time of the year.
People who are hoping to enjoy the hot weather by doing more than just sunbathing may be interested in experiencing the Limassol Walking Tour City Route.
The attraction can be undertaken each Monday in Cyprus from 10am local time.
