Haye 'finds tranquillity' on a Cyprus holiday

According to the Daily Mail, the cruiserweight champion is using the meditative quality of a Cyprus holiday to prepare for his attempt to launch into the heavyweight category.

The "sun baked hills" of the popular destination provide the ideal backdrop to Haye's committed training regime and mental focus, the report reveals.

"Haye came to Cyprus for a holiday with his manager and mentor Adam Booth and found the anonymity and the tranquillity ideal for his three years of absolute dedication to the pursuit of Klitschko and heavyweight glory," notes the publication.

Cyprus holiday makers who prefer a spot of golf to a bout of boxing may be interested in Aphrodite Hills, a leisure resort featuring an 18-hold championship golf course.

Variety is the name of the game at the location, which incorporates a health spa, numerous dining options and an amphitheatre, as well as overlooking the Randidi Gorge nature reserve.
