Go back to the Bronze Age on a Cyprus villa holiday

Here, the Palaeokastro Settlement can be found, which dates back to the Bronze Age and which was home to the first Mycenaean Greeks.

They arrived on the island around 1200 BC following the fall of the Mycenaean kingdoms in mainland Greece.

Surrounded by walls designed to protect it from the ocean and from those living inland, the settlement is a top attraction for those with an interest in history.

It is located around ten kilometres north-west of Paphos close to Coral Bay, so holiday makers could rent Cyprus villas here if they wish to visit the site.

Coral Bay is a popular resort which offers a wide range of shops, restaurants and other amenities, while a variety of water sports are available on the beach.
