Events to seek out while staying in Cyprus villas
Brits have been told of just a few reasons why they should decide upon booking holiday villas in Cyprus this year.
The island will be host to a trio of entertaining events throughout the summer months, each of which are sure to excite all holiday makers.
Next month, for example, provides Brits with the chance to soak up the history of Cyprus via the Festival of Ancient Greek Drama.
Taking place at the Ancient Odeon of Paphos, the attraction stretches over the whole of July and sees comedians and theatre companies from across the globe taking to the stage.
Then in August, those staying in Cyprus villas should book a day to visit Agros, where a special village festival takes place.
Brits will be treated to an array of local food recipes to try, while live music will create a great backing sound to enjoy too.
Running through August and September is also the Limassol Wine Festival, which takes place in the Municipal Gardens of Limassol – the wine-growing capital of Cyprus.
