Enjoy the warmth of a Greek goddess in winter

This is the claim of Byron Ayanoglu, a journalist who wrote of a trip to the island on which he decided to visit Paphos, the supposed birthplace of Greek goddess Aphrodite.

Mr Ayanoglu suggested that Cyprus is peaceful at this time of the year, although the weather remains good, with the "turquoise waters" off the coast still warm enough to swim in.
