Enjoy the Limassol Carnival while staying in a Cyprus Villa
Anyone planning to enjoy a Cyprus villa holiday next month will find countless attractions in and around the quaint town of Limassol.
The month of February is carnival time on the island and the Limassol festivities will be lasting from the 1st until the 14th.
There will be a multitude of events for revellers to enjoy including a photographic exhibition on the theme of carnival and displays of 80s carnival costumes for the duration of the event.
On February 4th, the Limassol Serenaders will be performing at Saripolou Square, where there will be a carnival feast for visitors to enjoy, with further parties and DJ sets running into the evening.
After that, a large parade will be staged with floats and fireworks, before the Children's Carnival Parade, which occurs on the Sunday (February 7th).
Those looking for a change of pace from the hectic carnival routine can also discover Cyprus's mythical side.
The birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, the island boasts all-round sunshine and famed beaches, as well as relics and monuments dating back to lost civilisations.
