Enjoy festivals and fireworks in Cyprus
For families enjoying a villa holiday in Cyprus, the festival is the perfect excuse to put on some dancing shoes and mix with the locals.
Taking place from September 26th to September 28th, the festival is a cultural extravaganza with dancing, fireworks, traditional music and samples of Cypriot delicacies.
Headlining this year's festival is Greek tenor Marios Frangoulis, along with Despoina Olympiou and Gerasimos Andreatos.
Ayia Napa International Festival is an event that the whole family can enjoy and other highlights include traditional puppet performances, exhibitions of Cypriot art and traditional music sessions.
Other cultural events taking place in Cyprus this year include the Palouze Fair and Cyprus Independence Day.
