Enjoy Summer Nights in Polis on Cyprus holidays
Travellers spending time in a Cyprus villa this summer may wish to take in a series of summer concerts in Polis.
On Friday evenings throughout the months of August and September, members of the public can attend the scheduled music events for free.
The programme includes an evening of traditional folk dances with a local troupe, tributes to Greek composers Nikos Xylouris and Mikis Theodorakis, a performance by the band Skhinovates - a celebration of Greek and artistic rock - and a performance of the Euripides play Kyklopas.
Those staying in a family villa in Cyprus on or before September 24th will have a chance to take in the sounds of Polis, as the event runs every Friday until this date.
Villas in this area of Cyprus are located around one hour's drive from Paphos airport and holidaymakers will find plenty to keep themselves occupied in Polis - including a beach and a traditional town to explore.
